The Director of Construction provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all construction operations, including HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping Field Operations, Sheetmetal Fabrication, and Logistics. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and at or above expected profit margins.
The Director of Construction plays a critical leadership role in achieving the company's annual financial objectives by driving operational excellence, managing project performance, minimizing risk, and developing high-performing teams. This individual serves as a trusted leader who fosters accountability, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement throughout the construction organization while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with Capstone's quality standards.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, and piping construction, exceptional financial acumen, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, general contractors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
