Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College is seeking a Compliance & Risk Management leader to coordinate and direct activities related to compliance, programmatic accreditation, and environmental health & safety across the district.

You will oversee the college's compliance program, mentor staff, support safety governance, and collaborate with Marketing, General Counsel, and Campus Police to maintain regulatory standing and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with seven years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of seven years of demonstrated experience in overall compliance, accreditation, risk management, or equivalent.
• Experience supervising, planning, scheduling, and ensuring quality of work.
• Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and EHS concepts and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the college’s compliance program and internal controls for accreditation.
• Lead, supervise, train, and evaluate staff per policies and contracts.
• Support safety governance and security services as Administrative Officer.
• Collaborate with departments to maintain regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Perform annual reviews of compliance documentation and oversee safety audits.
