Job summary

Reveille United Methodist Church in Richmond, VA seeks a full-time Director of Community Connection to engage the congregation and the broader community through service opportunities, partnerships, and events that build connections.

The role leads our Hub Team, supports the church’s vision to be a hub of faith, hope, and service, and focuses on recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers to expand outreach throughout greater Richmond.

Qualifications

• Two years of leadership experience in ministry or nonprofit settings.
• Strong planning, administrative, and communication abilities.
• Experience recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Engage the congregation and the wider community through service opportunities.
• Lead Hub Team and support the church’s vision for faith, hope, and service.
• Develop community partnerships and lead events that build connections.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to expand outreach in Richmond.
