The Director of Commercialization is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end commercialization process for new products, innovations, and strategic initiatives impacting BBU’s portfolio from concept through launch and post‑launch performance. This role establishes commercialization governance, drives cross‑functional alignment, and ensures successful execution across the portfolio while delivering measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercialization activities from concept development through market launch and post‑launch performance evaluation.
  • Establish and enforce governance processes, stage‑gate requirements, execution standards, and accountability mechanisms.
  • Drive alignment across Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Customer Team, Sales Operations, Finance, and other key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the commercialization portfolio, including resource planning, prioritization, risk management, and progress tracking.
  • Ensure launch readiness across all business functions, including customer activation, operational preparedness, and performance measurement.
  • Provide executive visibility into project status, risks, opportunities, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and continuously improve commercialization processes, tools, and playbooks.
  • Lead issue resolution and decision‑making for complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10–15+ years of experience in commercialization, innovation, product development, supply chain, or program management.
  • Proven track record of leading complex cross‑functional product launches and strategic initiatives.
  • Experience designing, implementing, or scaling commercialization functions, processes, or operating models.
  • Strong portfolio management and governance experience.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
