Job summary

BI WORLDWIDE is seeking a Director of Product and Cloud Engineering to lead the engineering organization powering our recognition and rewards platform. You will mentor engineering managers, steer sprint delivery, and drive cloud governance, security, and cost controls as we migrate from on-premises to the cloud.

The ideal candidate brings deep software engineering background, extensive AWS experience, and a proven ability to influence across product, security, and client teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience leading sprint-based SDLC with predictable delivery.
• Strong cloud (AWS) governance, security, and cost management experience.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead product engineering managers, UX designers, and Cloud Engineering team; hire, develop, and retain talent.
• Mentor engineering managers and ensure teams own their areas and run a sprint-based SDLC.
• Set cross-team priorities and maintain a predictable product roadmap.
• Own platform health: reliability, performance, and disaster recovery.
• Partner with Product, Client Services, Sales, and offshore teams to deliver roadmap commitments.
• Oversee Cloud governance across teams, including FinOps, tagging, IAM, and security baselines.
• Establish a Cloud Center of Excellence and drive cloud standards cross-functionally.
• Oversee migration of applications from private data centers to the cloud.
