NVIDIA in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an engineering director to lead the software teams behind our bare-metal datacenters and cloud compute infrastructure. You will build the software that makes this growing physical infrastructure available as reliable, secure, and efficient compute services for NVIDIA engineering.

Our CI infrastructure enables hardware, firmware, drivers, networking, and system software to be tested and prepared for production.

Formación

• 15+ years in software engineering, distributed systems, or cloud infra.
• 7+ years leading engineering teams and managing managers.
• Direct ownership of services in a public/private cloud.
• Strong depth in distributed systems, Linux, virtualization, containers, networking and storage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead software teams for cloud compute, bare-metal fleet management, and CI infra; own architecture, deployment, and ops.
• Set direction for compute control planes, provisioning, and capacity management across servers, VMs, and containers.
• Automate bare-metal lifecycle: discovery, imaging, firmware configuration, out-of-band management, health checks, reprovisioning, recovery.
• Build CI services that allocate hardware, provision test environments, record configurations, collect diagnostics, and restore known states.
• Define SLAs, improve observability, isolate failures, and drive fixes for test infra failures.
• Improve onboarding time, provisioning speed, CI queue time, fleet utilization, recovery time, and capacity expansion.
• Set engineering standards for review, testing, secure development, release quality, and safe changes to production.
• Hire, coach, and retain engineers and engineering managers; develop technical leaders.
