Qualifikationen

• 15+ years in software engineering, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• 7+ years leading engineering teams and managing engineering managers.
• Direct ownership of services for a compute/cloud platform with high availability.
• Strong depth in distributed systems, Linux, virtualization, containers, networking and storage.

Aufgaben

• Lead software teams for cloud compute, bare-metal fleet management, and CI infrastructure.
• Set direction for compute control planes, provisioning, placement, and capacity management.
• Automate bare-metal lifecycle: discovery, bring-up, imaging, firmware, and recovery.
• Build CI services to allocate hardware, provision test environments, and collect diagnostics.
• Improve validation speed and reliability; maintain dependable engineering services.
• Define SLAs, improve observability, and address recurring test infra failures.
• Measure onboarding time, provisioning speed, CI queue time, and cost efficiency.
• Set design/code review standards, automated testing, and secure development.
• Hire and develop engineers and engineering managers; foster cross-functional ownership.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, drivers, networking, and validation teams.
