Job summary

Sarah’s Circle in Chicago is seeking a Director of Clinical Services to lead and supervise clinical programs across temporary housing, permanent housing, and daytime supports. The role supports staff, ensures trauma-informed practice, and coordinates with housing case managers to improve client outcomes.

The position requires an MSW and Illinois LCSW licensure, 8+ years in social work, and 3+ years of supervisory experience, with a flexible schedule to meet client needs in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work; LCSW licensure required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in social work, including program planning and direct service.
• 3+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with the homeless population, women facing vulnerability, or shelter systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to annual planning and strategic planning for the agency.
• Lead education, skill development, and staff training with trauma-informed practices.
• Supervise the Client Resource Manager and coordinate client engagement activities.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Program Services and HR on staff development needs.
• Advise on program development, implementation, evaluation, and research initiatives.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality and regulatory compliance across programs.
