Job summary

Goshen Medical Center seeks a Corporate Director of Clinical Operations to assure clinical quality and effective administration of clinical processes across the organization. This role reports to the Director of Operations with coordination with Clinical Quality and Compliance.

It directs risk, case, disease, and utilization management initiatives and ensures adherence to policies and certifications. The position requires oversight of CLIA/DEA/FDA programs, development of action plans to close

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) licensed to practice in North Carolina.
• 5+ years experience influencing, leading, and directing individuals across multiple functional areas.
• Strong, confident leadership with clear vision and high-performing team building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to drive results and manage cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee Clinical Compliance Programs such as CLIA, DEA & FDA for the Company.
• Ensure consistent application of clinical policies, procedures, guidelines and criteria.
• Develop action plans to address gaps in quality standards and inefficiencies.
• Review clinical change requests and service issues; resolve patient-care impacts.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to staff across the Company.
• Create training presentations supporting Clinical Quality objectives.
• Plan and execute clinical educational activities and trainings annually.
• Review and update clinical operational policies on a yearly basis.
• Evaluate organizational risk and implement patient- and staff-safety strategies.
• Promote reporting and trend analysis to prevent issues and improve outcomes.
• Manage risk management, disease and utilization management activities as needed.

Director of Clinical Operations

Job Description: The Director of Clinical Operations assures clinical quality and effective administration of clinical processes and delivery of services as well as provide information input for risk management. This key role has the ultimate responsibility for assuring the consistent application of clinical policies, procedures and guidelines throughout the Company. This position reports to the Director of Operations, with functional coordination with the Director of Clinical Quality and Compliance.

This position is responsible for directing a variety of clinical functions of risk management, case management, disease management, and/or utilization management. Establish and implement cost-containment goals, objectives, metrics, and Return on Investment targets for population health. Ensure staff meet/exceed established goals and standards. Work with the other Goshen clinical staff to ensure compliance with certifications and regulations. Implement Policies/procedures and training programs to support the overall clinical quality of the Company.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the Clinical Compliance Programs such as CLIA, DEA & FDA for the Company.
• Oversees consistent application of clinical policies, procedures, guidelines and criteria
• Works to develop action plans to rectify gaps in quality standards and inefficiencies.
• Reviews specific clinical change requests and clinical service issues.
• Resolves clinical service issues to ensure patient satisfaction .
• Provides clinical leadership and support to staff across the Company.
• Create and provide training presentations that support the Company's Clinical Quality objectives .
• Oversee the planning, implementation and execution of all clinical educational activities and training to ensure
• Ensure clinical operational policies are reviewed and updated annually .
• Proactively evaluate areas of organizational risk based on internal assessment and external benchmarking and implement strategies and policies that promote patient and staff safety.
• Promote the occurrence of reporting process including trending and reporting of results, identification of problem-prone areas, and facilitation of prevention initiatives.
• Analyze all statistical reports and advisories that identify risk management and patient safety patterns and trends for leadership.
