Job summary

Diversicare Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a Director Clinical Educator to lead patient-care education and staff development in a long-term care environment. You will orient new staff, plan comprehensive training, and oversee online education compliance to ensure top-quality care.

The role emphasizes development of recruitment strategies, collaboration with the Administrator, and maintaining safety standards while staying current with health department guidelines and CQI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current licensure by State Board of Nursing or certified or licensed Risk Manager with at least two year’s of long-term care experience.
• Teaching/instructional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orient new staff members and provide on-going training for employees.
• Schedule training programs and in-services for all employees.
• Lecture and demonstrate procedures; coordinate with outside consultants when possible.
• Supervise use of online education and monitor compliance.
• Develop recruitment strategies for all positions and assist with selections.
• Maintain documentation of orientation and in-service training.
• Communicate department needs to Administrator and coordinate services including scheduling and budget.
• Monitor safety practices and coordinate with Safety Committee for corrective actions.
