Job summary

Metro West is seeking a Registered Nurse with long-term care experience to lead and enhance our clinical education and staff development initiatives. You will partner with the Director of Nursing to design and implement mentorship programs, onboarding, and ongoing training for nursing staff in a sub-acute and skilled nursing environment.

Ideal candidates will have RN licensure in the state, ASN or higher, and 2+ years of nursing experience with LTC/SNF settings; a clinical education or staff

Qualifications

• ASN or higher required.
• Clear and active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Two (2)+ years nursing experience required.
• Long-Term Care or SNF nursing experience OR Clinical Education and Staff Development experience strongly preferred.
• CDC - IPCO Certification required or must be willing to complete within 5 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the professional development program in a long-term care and sub-acute care / skilled nursing / short-term rehabilitation setting.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff, training and facilitation of existing staff, rolling out of new compliance and regulatory training, and ensuring the center remains in compliance with all regulatory, credentialing and educational requirements.
