Job summary

Cypress Health Partners is expanding its outpatient physical therapy network and seeks a Director of Construction to lead the build-out and renovation of clinics across the Northeast. You will manage design, budgets, permits, and construction while coordinating with real estate, operations, and external partners to deliver high-quality patient spaces.

The role requires extensive experience in construction management, ability to handle multiple sites, and travel to active projects.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-site construction projects in retail, healthcare, or similar sectors.
• At least 10 years' experience in construction management.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with keen attention to detail.
• Proven initiative, accountability, and proactive problem solving.
• Experience managing vendors/contractors and contractor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction projects including design, budget, permits, contracts, reporting, construction and delivery, on schedule and within budget.
• Partner with internal real estate, operations, external developers, and contractors to evaluate store opportunities and propose scope, budget and schedule.
• Implement project tracking to provide updates to senior management, capture decisions, assumptions, risks and dependencies.
• Review schedule/budget and resolve project issues.
• Lead procurement and bidding for general contractors and negotiate terms.
• Conduct site visits to verify work aligns with standards.
• Develop preventative maintenance plans for clinic operations.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, landlords and property managers for effective communication.
