Position Overview

We’re looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Director of Client Development to accelerate our growth in the U.S. market. This role will focus on driving net new sales and expanding partnerships with insurance carriers and key stakeholders in the auto and property claims ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of successful sales experience, deep knowledge of the insurance claims lifecycle, and a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy for auto and property insurance carriers, MGAs, and strategic partners.
  • Lead discovery calls, uncover prospect pain points, and position ControlExpert’s solutions to address their needs.
  • Build and nurture relationships with claims executives, innovation leaders, and operations stakeholders.
  • Guide prospects through the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and proposals to contract execution.
  • Represent ControlExpert at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, account management, operations, and product teams to align strategies with market demands.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline updates, and insights to the VP of Client Development and Success and leadership team.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally selling to insurance carriers.
  • Strong understanding of auto and/or property claims processes, including FNOL, estimating platforms, subrogation, total loss/salvage, and managed networks.
  • Proven track record in solution selling with a consultative approach, objection handling, and executive-level influence.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) for communications, proposals, and presentations.
  • Skilled in preparing for and engaging at industry trade shows and conferences, including pre- and post-event prospecting.
  • Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Locations

This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates based in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, Texas, or Virginia.
