The Opportunity
At Alera Group, our Wealth & Financial Services team helps individuals, families, and businesses pursue their financial goals through personalized planning, investment strategies, retirement planning, and wealth management solutions. As a Director of Client Connections, you'll build trusted relationships, provide exceptional service, and help clients make informed financial decisions with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
- Transfer calls, take messages, and ensure timely communication with clients and colleagues
- Welcome visitors and provide a professional and friendly office experience
- Support seminar and event preparation activities including materials assembly and logistics
- Maintain office supplies, client gifts, and inventory to support daily operations
- Keep conference rooms, common areas, and meeting spaces organized and well stocked
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing shipments through USPS and FedEx
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office and client service operations
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, customer service, or front desk role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional presence and commitment to delivering exceptional client service
- Ability to handle challenging interactions professionally and effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a financial services, insurance, or professional services environment
- Experience operating a multi-line or switchboard phone system
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
- Experience supporting seminars, events, or client engagement activities
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve administrative challenges
- Experience managing office supply inventories and vendor coordination
- Commitment to providing a high-quality client experience
Compensation
- Hourly Range - $24.00– $29.00 hourly
