Job summary

JCCS, P.C. seeks a strategic Director of Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAS) to lead and expand our advisory practice across Montana offices.

You will shape CAS strategy, build a high-performing team, and deliver high-value client insights. As a member of the firm’s leadership, you will grow the client base, foster relationships, and drive operational excellence while collaborating with tax and audit to provide integrated solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
  • Active CPA or CMA license.
  • 10+ years of experience in public accounting, advisory, or CAS services.
  • Proven experience leading teams, departments, or service lines.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and advisory services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, growth, and overall performance of the CAS practice.
  • Build, manage, and develop a high-performing CAS team.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on financial performance and business decisions.
  • Establish and grow a book of business through business development and client relationship management.
  • Identify opportunities to expand CAS services and enhance client value.
  • Oversee delivery of CAS engagements to ensure quality, timeliness, and consistency.
  • Develop and improve processes, workflows, and service offerings.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of technology and tools within the CAS function.
  • Collaborate with tax, audit, and firm leadership to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Participate in firm initiatives related to growth, strategy, and team development.
  • Perform other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned.
