Job summary

Venbrook is seeking a Director, Claims Management & Excellence to lead claim handling and raise the standard for a modern TPA claims operation. This strategic, hands-on role reports to the Head of TPA Claims and will design workflows, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics across multiple lines of business.

The ideal candidate combines deep claims expertise with business acumen, strong analytics, and a track record of modernization, process improvement, and successful change

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPCU strongly preferred; MBA or other industry designations preferred.
• 10 or more years of property and casualty claims experience across several lines, including hands-on claims handling.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership in claims operations, managing claims supervisors and examiners, in a TPA/carrier/self-insured setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead claims process evaluation and optimization across end-to-end workflows.
• Manage inventory, assignments, caseloads, and service standards; oversee day-to-day claim handling.
• Oversee technology modernization, including insurtech tools, AI, and analytics implementations.
• Develop KPIs and lead performance reviews with leadership and clients.
