Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring compliance with all OEC/NAEYC/AQIS regulations.
• Develop and implement curriculum and programs that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing open communication and support.
• Collaborate with Foundation Executive Staff to manage budgets, marketing, and enrollment, ensuring the financial stability and growth of the center.

Qualifications

• Education: BA or AA degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in as a director in a childcare setting
• Certifications: CDPD and CDA
• Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles. Business acumen and familiarity with licensing requirements and health and safety regulations.
• Qualities: Passionate about child development, emotionally intelligent, and adept at building relationships.
