Merrick Bank is seeking a Director, Loss Forecasting & CECL to lead the quantitative analysis of credit losses and ACL across consumer portfolios. You will own CECL forecast processes, develop reserve attribution, and ensure governance alignment with risk, finance and model risk management.

In this role you will evaluate macroeconomic scenarios, monitor model performance, and drive enhancements to forecasting methodologies. Strong communication and collaboration across stakeholders is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 5+ years in consumer credit risk or financial analysis.
• Experience supporting CECL and loss forecasting preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel;SQL/SAS/Python/R or similar tools required.

Aufgaben

• Execute quarterly CECL reserve estimation and forecasting for consumer portfolios.
• Analyze expected credit losses, reserve drivers and quarter-over-quarter changes.
• Assess macroeconomic forecasts and scenario weighting on reserve estimates.
• Develop reserve attribution analyses and present recommendations to management.
• Prepare materials for reserve governance committees and internal/external audits.
