Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia seeks a senior career development leader to design and oversee advising and programming that prepare students for competitive careers. You will manage employer engagement, experiential learning, and partnerships with schools, alumni, and industry partners to expand access to opportunities.

Responsibilities include directing signature events, analyzing outcomes, managing budgets, and ensuring program quality within UVA's Charlottesville campus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 5+ years in career services, higher education admin, or related field for Director level.
• 2+ years for Associate Director level.
• Experience in advising, employer relations, and program development.
• Experience planning, implementing, and evaluating events and internships.

Responsibilities

• Provide career advising and development programming.
• Lead signature career education and employer engagement initiatives.
• Manage experiential learning opportunities and externships.
• Develop initiatives to increase access to opportunities.
• Partner with student orgs and faculty to promote career readiness.
