The director acts as a change agent who improves project delivery, production support, and organizational performance, and reports on key performance indicators across the portfolio.

Highlights

• Foster a formal work management framework as a core business process for projects, operational work, and strategic initiatives.
• Train and guide managers and teams as they adopt work management best practices.
• Define and maintain KPIs, operational metrics, and reporting frameworks that measure project delivery and production support.
• Oversee performance reports, dashboards, and metrics that support strategic and operational objectives.
• Direct functional analysis support for Institutional Reporting, aligning data extraction and analytics with university goals and regulatory standards.
• Administer and architect the department’s Smartsheet portfolio repository, including automated workflows and executive dashboards.
• Hold a four-year degree or equivalent specialized training, plus seven years of directly related experience.
• Prefer candidates with PMP certification, Smartsheet experience, and demonstrated leadership.
• Earn $115,000 - $132,250 per year.
• Work fully remote while living in the Greater Houston area, with occasional on-campus presence.
