Employment Term (Days): 226 + 6 NPD

Pay Scale: Administrator - Business 5

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and support the overall operation of the Business Office.

Qualification Guidelines:

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or other related field; or related experience

Experience:

3 year’s accounting experience, preferably in public schools, with at least one year in a supervisory position

Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Advanced knowledge of school finance, budgeting, accounting systems, and economics
• Knowledge of information/data processing systems and financial applications
• Ability to resolve conflict, listen, and appropriately respond to concerns
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Ability to manage budget and personnel
• Ability to implement policy and procedures
• Ability to interpret data
• Excellent communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
