Position Summary

This Forsyth Sales Lead will drive a significant sales portfolio by building a strong network, partnering with our go-to-market strategy team to understand our value proposition, and cultivating new business for Forsyth Health Services. This role involves developing and executing client-specific strategies and supporting the adoption of Forsyth Health insights & solutions to deliver optimal healthcare outcomes for downstream patients. The Forsyth Sales Lead will assist clients in selecting the insights & solutions that best meet their needs, requiring broad knowledge of Forsyth data solutions and market landscape to tailor offerings for pharma clients. The role also involves leveraging channel relationships to overcome barriers and working closely with product owners and innovators to facilitate pharma client decisions.

In addition, the Forsyth Sales Lead will:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leaders across data operations, client solutions, contract execution, go-to-market strategy, and product strategy.
  • Focus on new sales and partner with go-to-market strategies from prospect pursuit through RFP and finalization, to develop a cohesive sales approach.
  • Develop pharma client/market penetration strategies and lead sales execution.
  • Ensure sales team goals are met and exceeded through lead generation, product penetration, and other sales activities.
  • Meet revenue targets by delivering insightful, value-added proposals addressing complex client issues.
  • Monitor success factors such as new business, sales revenue, gross margin, and profitability goals.
  • Understand client utilization of data for commercial analytics to inform brand strategy from marketing, sales, and market access perspectives.
  • Integrate goals and programs into work processes and monitor progress towards growth objectives.
  • Execute the global strategy and growth roadmap.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor to C-suite and pharma leaders, assessing needs and providing relevant solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with top client executives, including CEOs, CFOs, and other senior leaders.

Essential Functions

  • Understand the market landscape and develop client-specific strategies.
  • Create and execute deal-specific sales strategies and tactical plans.
  • Develop buyer engagement plans to accelerate the pharma client’s buying journey.
  • Understand competitive actions and develop plans to address challenges.
  • Support client and channel partner questions with broad expertise in Forsyth solutions, overcoming barriers as needed.
  • Achieve sales revenue, gross margin, and other goals, including annual sales planning and strategy development.
  • Identify top prospects and develop account plans.
  • Maintain CRM updates with contacts and activities.
  • Partner with pricing teams to deliver competitive offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience, preferably in data/insight sales to life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic and tactical sales initiatives.
  • Strong influencing skills with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to build credibility, trust, and negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in commercial analytics for pharmaceutical brands.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

This role may be eligible for an incentive compensation plan.
