Director of Business Development - Forsyth Health - Remote

Position Summary

This Forsyth Sales Lead will drive a significant sales portfolio by building a strong network, partnering with our go-to-market strategy team to understand our value proposition, and cultivating new business for Forsyth Health Services. The role involves building and executing client-specific strategies and supporting the adoption of Forsyth Health insights & solutions to deliver optimal healthcare outcomes. The Sales Lead will help clients select the most suitable insights & solutions, requiring broad knowledge of Forsyth data solutions and market landscape to tailor offerings to pharma client needs. The position also involves leveraging channel relationships and collaborating with product teams to influence pharma client decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leaders across data operations, client solutions, go-to-market strategy, and product teams.
  • Lead new sales efforts from prospecting through RFPs to final negotiations with cohesive strategies.
  • Develop and execute market penetration strategies for pharma clients.
  • Achieve sales targets through lead generation, product penetration, and team management.
  • Prepare and deliver value-driven proposals addressing complex client issues.
  • Monitor success metrics including sales revenue, new business, gross margin, and profitability.
  • Utilize data assets for commercial analytics supporting marketing, sales, and market access strategies.
  • Align goals and deployment plans with business objectives and growth strategies.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor to C-suite and senior pharma leaders, assessing needs and providing solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with top client executives including CEOs, CFOs, and other senior leaders.

Essential Functions

  • Understand market landscape and develop tailored client strategies.
  • Create and implement deal-specific sales plans and buyer engagement strategies.
  • Stay informed on competitive actions and develop counter-strategies.
  • Develop expertise in Forsyth solutions to support sales and overcome barriers.
  • Meet revenue, gross margin, and other sales goals, including planning and strategy development.
  • Identify prospects and build account plans.
  • Maintain CRM records of contacts and activities.
  • Collaborate with pricing teams to offer competitive market proposals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in data/insight sales, healthcare sales, or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Proven ability to develop strategies and execute tactical initiatives.
  • Strong influencing skills with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with commercial analytics for pharmaceutical brands.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple opportunities.

Remote work requires internet with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload speeds. The role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
