Mortenson is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to collaborate with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. You will partner with market leaders to win project work, lead teams, and shape positioning strategies for existing and potential customers.

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Director of Business Development with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are vital, with attention to detail equally important. The Director of Business Development will partner with business unit market leaders in developing and supporting positioning strategies with existing and potential customers to win project work, as well as leading teams.
(for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)
The base pay range for this role is $200,900 MIN - $301,400 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
