Position Summary: The Director of Business Development is responsible for building and leading a scalable growth function that fuels the organic expansion of the firm. This is a player-coach role in which the Director sets strategy and personally executes. The leader owns both the Marketing and Business Development functions, eliminating the handoff friction between demand generation and pipeline conversion. The Director will deepen scope and opportunity within existing corporate client ecosystems, expand into new target companies, and coordinate execution across marketing, advisory, and operational teams. This requires a hands-on, metric-driven leader who generates consistent Net New Assets (NNA) and inspires cross-functional alignment toward growth.
Historically, the firm has built deep expertise in supporting executives with defined benefit plans nearing retirement, particularly at Fortune 500 companies. Going forward, the Director will both extend that legacy and design new approaches to reach untapped companies and new executive populations.
