About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a hospital-based healthcare technology management program in Las Vegas, NV.

This is not an IT position. The selected candidate will oversee the department responsible for medical equipment management, clinical engineering, and biomedical services to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the corporate Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) program.
• Define strategic direction through short- and long-term goal setting, technology planning, and medical device integration.
• Oversee operations including risk analysis, regulatory compliance, vendor and contract management, and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements related to medical equipment management.

Develop, track, and execute departmental KPIs.

Create customized service delivery plans to support facility needs.

Develop, mentor, and motivate the HTM team.

Strengthen facility and vendor relationships.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and equipment reliability.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of Technical School Certification or Associates Degree

Bachelors Degree preferred

• 5–8 years of related Healthcare Technology Management, Clinical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering experience
• Strong background in medical equipment oversight and lifecycle management

Healthcare facility experience preferred

Experience leading healthcare technology management programs

Experience with CMMS systems

Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

Relevant biomedical or clinical engineering certifications preferred
