Job summary

Uline, a family-owned North American leader in shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, is seeking a Head of Benefits to lead and evolve our benefits portfolio. This executive role oversees health, retirement, wellness, disability and leave programs across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, driving strategy and employee experience.

The Head of Benefits will guide the Benefits team, collaborate with leadership, and ensure programs align with business objectives while delivering exceptional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive benefits experience, including leadership in a large, complex org.
• Experience managing benefit vendors, negotiations and partnerships.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term benefits strategy.
• Lead design, implementation and admin of health, welfare, retirement, wellness, workers compensation, disability and leave programs across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Head of Benefits

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Uline's long-term benefits strategy, ensuring programs align with workforce needs and business objectives.
• Lead the design, implementation and administration of health, welfare, retirement, wellness, workers compensation, disability and leave programs across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
• Partner with leadership and vendors to evaluate benefit plans, keep offerings competitive and drive exceptional service.
• Serve as Uline's benefits expert and financial steward, advising HR and executive leadership on program effectiveness, industry trends and employee experience.
• Guide and develop the Benefits team and committees, building a positive, high-performing culture.
• Create and execute benefits communications to make complex information clear and engaging for employees.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive benefits experience, including leadership experience within a large, complex organization.
• Experience managing benefit vendors, negotiations and strategic partnerships.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic initiatives.
• Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or other HR certification preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems. Workday a plus.
