Job summary

Heritage-Valley-Health-System seeks a Director of Behavioral Science Training for the Family Medicine Residency Program in Beaver Falls, PA. The role leads development and implementation of the behavioral science rotation, delivering lectures and conferences, and supervising residents in clinical encounters.

The candidate will have a Master’s in behavioral science, teaching and team experience, and strong computer skills; a doctorate and professional certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the behavioral science field.
• Experience in teaching, psychotherapy, and working in a team situation with adults.
• Proficient in the use of computer to send and receive email and create Word documents and Powerpoint presentations.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances within 90 days of commencing employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a behavioral science rotation for the residents, including lectures, conferences and other educational activities.
• Supervise residents in doctor/patient encounters from a behavioral science point of view.
