Position Summary

Director of Artificial Intelligence and Clinical Analytics – Department of Radiation Oncology, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the integration of AI across the clinical and research missions of the department.
• Guide the development, validation and implementation of advanced clinical analytics and AI solutions to enhance imaging, treatment planning, delivery, quality and efficiency.
• Shape the department’s innovation agenda, evolving advanced analytics into scalable AI applications and developing an AI and Clinical Analytics program.
• Lead an independent, externally visible research program focused on AI in radiation oncology, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, mentoring trainees and positioning the department at the forefront of clinically integrated AI innovation.
• Deliver clinical care with a focus on the selected disease site subspecialty in radiation oncology; participate in teaching and research activities at the main campus, and hold an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School (Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor).
• After regulatory approval, provide clinical care at Dana–Farber Cancer Institute as well.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range: $460,000 - $527,500. The role may also be eligible for performance‑based incentives, including bonuses for productivity and quality.
