Job summary

Marian High School in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking a Director of Annual Giving to lead the Marian Fund, cultivate donors, and oversee signature events such as the Marian Benefit Evening and Spring Raffle. You will steward a mid-level donor portfolio and collaborate with the Advancement team on data integrity and fundraising strategy.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of fundraising experience, strong writing and communication skills, and a passion for Catholic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of fundraising experience, with demonstrated success in annual giving, donor relations, and event management.
• Experience managing direct reports and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and volunteers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for donor engagement and reporting.
• Proficiency with CRM/databases (Raiser’s Edge preferred) and online fundraising platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal portfolio of annual giving donors ($1,000–$9,999).
• Develop pipeline of major gift prospects through strategic engagement.
• Lead Parent Partnership Program and annual donor engagement strategies.
• Oversee fundraising events and campaigns, including Marian Benefit Evening and Spring Raffle.
• Collaborate with Advancement team on donor systems, recognition materials, and annual plan.
