Job summary

NDSU Team Makers is seeking a Director of Annual Fund Operations to advance membership growth, fundraising initiatives, and supporter engagement. This hands-on role requires strong customer service, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects with internal partners.

Responsibilities include tailgating/parking coordination, golf tournament planning, premium spaces management, stewardship for the Green and Gold Fund, and overseeing membership renewals and game-day pre-sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, communications, marketing, nonprofit management, or related field.
• One to two years of experience in fundraising, athletics operations, event operations, customer service, membership services, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event days as required.
• Experience with membership or event management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reserved tailgating and parking operations, including renewal, communication, and execution.
• Coordinate tailgating logistics for game days and serve as primary contact with venue staff.
• Oversee planning and execution of golf tournaments and provide detailed reports to the Board.
• Manage premium spaces including Team Makers Tunnel and other basketball premium areas.
• Implement and oversee stewardship packets and events for Green and Gold Fund.
• Coordinate single game pre-sale and renewals for Team Makers memberships.
• Engage with head coaches and Athletics staff to align fundraising with annual fund needs.
• Participate in public relations activities for the athletics department.
