Job summary

Moderna is seeking a senior leader to spearhead the Innovative Technology and Methodology capability within Analytical Development. You will set strategy for next-generation analytical methods and technologies, translating scientific capabilities into scalable solutions across the QC network.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related field with 12+ years of relevant industry experience, or MS/BS with 18+ years.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Innovative Technology and Methodology capability within Analytical Development, establishing vision and roadmap for next-generation analytical methods.
• Build and govern an end-to-end analytical innovation pipeline from concept to validation and deployment.
• Partner with multiple teams to translate product knowledge into prioritized innovation programs with defined requirements.
• Advance automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled analytical applications across the network.
• Drive method transformations to replace legacy methods with high-throughput, scalable platforms.
• Define implementation pathways including transfer, validation, and change management across testing sites.
