Job summary

Moderna is seeking an experienced scientist to provide technical leadership and execution support for analytical method lifecycle management across commercial and late-stage programs. The role emphasizes chemistry-based analytical methods, method transfer, validation, and troubleshooting within Quality Control laboratories, manufacturing, and CMOs.

The candidate will collaborate with Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing Sciences, and CMOs to ensure robust analytical performance,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of industry experience or Master's with 3+ years and PhD with 0–2 years of experience.
Experience supporting analytical method transfer, qualification, validation, verification, or lifecycle management in GMP-regulated settings.
Experience authoring and reviewing technical documents including SOPs, protocols and reports.
Knowledge of GMP, data integrity principles, and pharmaceutical quality systems.
Experience working on laboratory investigations (OOS/OOT/deviation) and data analysis.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Quality Control, QA, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and external partners.

Responsibilities

Lead and support chemistry-focused analytical method transfers and validations across internal and external laboratories.
Provide technical expertise for chemistry method performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Evaluate chemistry analytical method suitability and identify opportunities for improvement.
