Job description

We are a leading aviation company seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Aircraft Sales & Acquisitions to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in facilitating aircraft acquisition transactions, aircraft sales, and lease of third party owned aircraft. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will be responsible for leading our aircraft sales and acquisitions team, negotiating deals, building relationships with clients, pursuing/generating leads and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and industry partners
  • Develop and execute sales & acquisition strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Negotiate deals and contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Survey and monitor pre-owned aircraft to identify market and off-market acquisition targets meeting the company's fleet requirements.
  • Direct outreach to aircraft owners, operators, aircraft sales brokers and financial institutions to identify purchase, sale and lease opportunities
  • Use technical data, comparable aircraft pricing, market trend, book values and other factors to present aircraft valuations.
  • Maintain status of market developments as it relates to aircraft market and valuation trends across the industry.
  • Develop proficiency with research tools including JETNET Marketplace / AMSTAT.
  • Develop aircraft marketing specifications through aircraft technical data, condition notes and other pertinent information.
  • Maintain buyer, seller, lessor and aircraft data in CRM.
  • Provide routine and timely updates to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to ensure aircraft transaction documents are circulated, reported, and filed appropriately.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure respective aircraft transaction documents, maintenance and warranty programs are transferred for new aircraft.
  • Assist with requests including aircraft registration renewals, monthly flight hour summary reports, invoice inquiries, insurance certificate requests, etc.
  • Participate in industry events and tradeshows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, aviation, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in aircraft sales and acquisitions
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Authorized to Work in the US
