Job summary

Oracle in Seattle, WA is seeking a Director to lead Core Infrastructure Engineering, owning strategy, delivery, and operational health for shared OCI platforms including automation, AI tooling, and data platforms. You will guide a distributed team, expand multi-realm capabilities, and work with security, IAM, and platform partners to scale production-ready solutions.

The role demands deep cloud infrastructure expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering scalable platform

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading software/platform/cloud infrastructure teams.
• Proven ability to define multi-quarter roadmaps across engineering customers.
• Deep judgment across cloud infra, APIs, CI/CD, observability, and secure operations.
• Experience building production automation/workflow platforms balancing self-service and governance.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy for shared cloud infrastructure, automation, tooling, data platforms, and AI-enabled operations.
• Lead managers and senior engineers across platforms; establish ownership and delivery discipline.
• Deliver scalable OCI hosting models with access controls, deployment automation, monitoring, and DR.
• Build AI execution platform with reusable skills, connectors, and cost visibility; evolve to production.
• Expand workflow as a service to multi-realm delivery; prioritize platform features.
• Own a prioritized tooling portfolio; drive investments in automation and telemetry.
• Create intake/process and staffing plans aligned with commitments and investments.
• Partner with IAM, Security, and other teams to ensure secure delivery.
• Communicate roadmap progress to senior leaders and partner organizations.
