Job summary

Rehrig Pacific seeks a Director of Solutions Delivery to lead a small engineering team building rapid prototypes, refining the AI-augmented Development Lifecycle, and handing off MVPs to IT Operations when appropriate.

You will partner with Digital Innovation, Cybersecurity, and IT Operations to set engineering standards, govern security and AI safety, and drive disciplined delivery across prototypes and production. 10+ years in software engineering and prior leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng or related field.
• Master's degree would be a plus.
• Hands-on depth with modern software engineering practices including cloud-native development, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
• Familiarity with AI-augmented development tools and agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the agentic development team to turn designs into prototypes and MVPs.
• Refine the AI-DLC playbook, tooling, guardrails, and engineering practices.
• Handover MVPs to IT Operations with complete documentation and tooling.
• Ensure security and AI safety considerations in development.
• Manage developer tooling and model provider relationships.
