Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity to execute and evolve the security program across risk, threat modeling, incident response, and governance. You will own architecture, IAM, SIEM, and tooling while partnering with IT Operations, Solutions Delivery, and Digital Innovation to bake security into design from the start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA strongly preferred; cloud security credentials encouraged.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on familiarity with the AI-era threat landscape, including LLMs and agentic systems.
• Experience evolving a security program from periodic to continuous posture.
• Working understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and regulatory requirements for manufacturing or distribution operations.
• Experience leading incident response, including cross-functional coordination.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with exceptional communication abilities.
• Travel willingness of 15–25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop talent and grow the security bench to meet evolving needs.
• Drive continuous posture improvements and program evolution.

• Lead incident response and tabletop exercises with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain alignment with NIST CSF and regulatory requirements; manage third-party risk.
• Communicate security risk clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
