HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Director of Software Product to lead AI-enabled pods and turn its engineering practices into impactful software products.

This role blends hands-on development with strategic leadership, prioritizing initiatives by value and adoption across diverse field environments. You will own the portfolio end-to-end—from discovery through delivery—partnering with field teams, executives, and operations to ensure rapid, measurable impact and scalable practices for the next

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Engineering/Business or related field.
• 10+ years in software product management or engineering leadership, with 4+ years leading ships-production software.
• Hands-on experience leading AI-enabled and agentic development methods.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end software in lean, agile teams.
• Player-coach leadership style balancing management and hands-on work.
• Fluency in outcome-based product management with clear metrics.
• Excellent stakeholder management across executives to field users.
• Experience delivering software for field-based or operational users; construction/engineering/manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the software product portfolio and roadmap with prioritization by value.
• Lead discovery with business, operations, and field partners to identify high-value problems.
• Translate problems into strategies, metrics, and sequenced bets.
• Directly manage agentic pods including cadence and delivery commitments.
• Shape backlogs, plan, remove blockers, and sustain fast shipping.
• Write requirements, test prototypes, review releases, and manage scope.
• Build relationships with project teams and field leaders to ensure adoption.
• Establish feedback loops with analytics to link pods to business results.
• Contribute to standards and playbooks for the agentic practice.
• Mentor PMs, product owners, and engineers in lean, AI-augmented work.
