Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group seeks an experienced senior data analytics professional to design and operate production-grade LLM-based analytics. The role emphasizes AWS Bedrock capabilities, semantic layering, and robust extraction pipelines, with a focus on actionable business insights and governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics / BI with at least 2+ years building production LLM-based Analytics systems.
• Hands-on, production-level expertise with AWS Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Glue, Athena; vector store experience is a plus.
• Strong prompt-engineering and LLM development skills: structured extraction, tool-calling, retrieval design, and evaluation.
• Understanding semantic layers or metrics layers to ground LLM outputs in governed definitions.
• Experience building pattern-, trend-, or anomaly-detection over enterprise data and translating findings for business users.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js for building extraction pipelines and integration code.
• Knowledge of SQL and cloud analytics engines (Athena, Redshift) for NL-to-SQL experiences.
• Ability to demo systems to engineers and explain behavior to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the conversational AI experience end to end using Bedrock Agents and knowledge bases.
• Build capabilities to detect patterns, trends, and anomalies across enterprise data.
• Develop the AI extraction pipeline turning unstructured data into structured facts using AWS services.
• Own prompt engineering and agent tool design to balance accuracy, latency, and cost.
• Integrate conversational layer with semantic layer and business ontology to ensure consistent dashboards.
• Create evaluation and quality processes for LLM-based systems, including guardrails and audits.
• Mentor engineers and represent the workstream in architecture reviews.
• Stay current with AWS AI landscape and propose concrete improvements.
