Job summary

Lambda Security is seeking a senior leader to build and run the Detection & Response (D&R) organization. You will drive automation-first security, threat hunting, and proactive incident response across multi-cloud and bare-metal infrastructure hosted in our own AI-enabled environment.

You will establish scalable processes, lead senior engineers, and report on security incidents with executive-level metrics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of security experience with 5+ years leading technical teams.
• Proven ability to build security programs from the ground up that accelerate business initiatives.
• Excellent at building automation-first security programs to reduce toil.

Responsibilities

• Build, hire, and lead a high-performing Detection & Response team for Lambda’s hypergrowth.
• Define team processes, culture, and operating rhythms balancing startup agility with security discipline.
• Architect incident response processes, escalation frameworks, and triage protocols for 24/7 coverage.
