Workday seeks aSenior Manager/Director of AI Agent Engineering to lead the development of AI agents for HR and Finance. You will mentor a high-performing engineering team, delivering robust, scalable AI agent solutions that integrate with the Workday ecosystem and provide strong user experiences.

You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists and architects to translate business needs into technical solutions, evaluate cutting-edge AI tech, and ensure data privacy and compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering leadership with a focus on AI/ML and cloud-based systems.
• 5+ years designing and delivering mission-critical systems at scale.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in CS, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with the Workday platform is a strong plus.

• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
