Job summary

Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame seeks an experienced Director of Advancement to lead fundraising, donor stewardship, marketing, and communications. The role partners with the leadership team to support enrollment goals and expand community support.

The Director will cultivate benefactors, manage events, and develop a comprehensive strategy aligned with Catholic classical education. Hybrid work and a strong mission are offered.

Qualifications

• Practicing Catholic and willing to take the Oath of Fidelity.
• Commitment to Catholic classical education mission.
• Nonprofit advancement, fundraising, communications or related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to build productive relationships with benefactors, volunteers, parents and boards.
• Experience with donor management software and general computer skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive fundraising program including annual and major gift campaigns.
• Coordinate a development committee with volunteers and Board representation.
• Oversee annual gala and major advancement events.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with benefactors, alumni, parents and foundations.
• Identify new sources of funding and opportunities.
• Oversee donations processing and donor acknowledgements.
• Provide regular progress reports to the Executive Committee.
