Job summary

Qualifications

MS in Chemistry or related field required.
Three years of teaching experience or other suitable professional experience.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, implement, and assess the laboratory curriculum for upper-division courses.
Supervise, train, and evaluate TAs for upper division labs.
Teach both the lecture and laboratory portions of one upper-division course per year.
Maintain instrumentation and chemical inventories.
Facilitate undergraduate research opportunities and internships.
Cultivate internship opportunities with industry and organizations.
Organize yearly panels with professionals from industry and government.
Arrange student visits to chemical companies in the Milwaukee area.
Advise CheMU and assist students pursuing graduate/professional studies.
