The Blossoms seeks an experienced Director of Admissions to streamline the admissions process, coordinate referrals, and build strong relationships with hospitals, doctors, and other partners. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of admissions experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to cultivate working relationships inside and outside the facility.
• Demonstrated selling, entrepreneurship, and organizational skills with a strong focus and determination.
• Marketing experience is a plus.
• Must be a team player, highly organized, and possess a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions to the facility by generating referrals and managing the admissions process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with area referral sources, such as hospitals, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct tours of the facility for outside interested parties to showcase our services and amenities.
• Process referrals and guide potential residents and their families through the admissions process.
• Sign in new patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate details between hospitals, doctors, our center, and field staff to facilitate a smooth transition for new admissions.
• Maintain up-to-date bed availability and facility services information to provide accurate information to referral sources and potential residents.
• Reach out to medical, insurance, legal, and financial professionals, senior organizations, hospital discharge planners, and community contacts to promote our facility and services.
• Compile and distribute admission papers, ensuring they are properly filled out and entered into the system.
• Assist in creating facility materials, such as press releases, brochures, and advertisements, to effectively market our services.
• Stay informed about Federal and state regulations and reimbursement policies relevant to admissions processes.
• Help expedite the admissions process for emergency cases, prioritizing their needs while adhering to regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations related to admissions.
