Job summary

Bayside Health & Rehabilitation Center in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a driven Director of Admissions with a proven sales record. This role leads the Admissions Department and coordinates census development to meet facility goals.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of outside sales experience, healthcare knowledge, and excellent communication skills. A four-year degree is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and customer service.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of outside sales experience; preferably in healthcare.
• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Active listening skills and excellent verbal and written communication; must be a team-player.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid preferred.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures; regulations apply to nursing care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Admissions Department and Admissions Coordinator.
• Meet weekly and monthly admissions goals according to target.
• Develops and maintains a monthly marketing plan for the Healthcare Center.
• Conducts effective sales calls with designated targeted referral sources.
• Reviews patient medical records for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
• Ensures smooth transition and complete paperwork upon admission.
