Job summary

CareOne at Somerset Valley in Bound Brook, NJ is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead referral development, coordinate admissions, and oversee patient sign-ins and physician assignments.

You will build relationships with area referral sources, conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families, and manage the end-to-end admissions process in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills; energetic.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• 2+ years in Healthcare, Long Term Care industry.
• 2-3 years of successful B2B sales experience.
• 3+ years in long-term care admissions preferred; strong selling and organizational skills.
• Marketing experience a plus.
• Must be a team player, highly organized, positive attitude.

Salary Range: $70,000 to $115,000 per year

The Director of Admissions will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Coordination of admissions to the facility through generating referrals
• Developing and maintaining relationships with area referral sources

• Process referrals to admissions
• Provide tours
• Sign in new patients
• Assign physicians
• Coordinate all details between hospital, doctor, center and field staff

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related field
• Superior interpersonal, communication skills and energetic
• Ability to cultivate working relationships both inside and outside the facility
• 2+ years of experience in Healthcare, specifically in the Long Term Care Industry
• 2-3 years of successful business-to-business sales experience.
• 3 (+) years in long term care admissions is preferred.
• Demonstrated selling, entrepreneurship, and organizational skills with strong focus and determination.
• Marketing experience a plus.
• Must be a team player, highly organized and have a positive attitude
