Hill Valley Healthcare in Daleville, VA seeks an Activity Director to lead engaging daily activity programs for residents, coordinating group and individual activities that promote socialization and wellness. You will collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary and other departments to support resident-centered care.

The role emphasizes resident engagement, emotional well-being, and ensuring activities meet residents’ physical, mental, and emotional needs.

Formación

• Two (2) years of experience conducting social or recreational programs within the past five years preferred.
• Experience working in a resident activities program within a healthcare setting required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, energetic, and resident-focused approach.
• Ability to lead group activities and encourage participation.

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and community organizations.

The Activity Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing meaningful recreational and social programs that enhance the quality of life for residents.
