The Director, Accounting Advisory and Strategic Programs will serve an important role within SOLV Energy's Accounting organization, supporting the CAO and leadership on complex, high-priority initiatives spanning accounting transformation, external audit readiness, mergers and

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 10 to 15 years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years at Senior Manager level or above.
• Experience with SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, S-1) and public company financial reporting requirements.
• Hands-on SOX 404 experience including ICFR design, operating effectiveness testing, and remediation.
• Prior experience supporting IPOs or public company transitions.
• Deep technical proficiency in U.S. GAAP including ASC 606, 718, 805, 842, 280, and 350.
• Experience advising C-suite executives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional accounting transformation and close process optimization.
• Develop analytics and workflow automation to reduce manual processes and enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate external audit activities and PBC process; manage open items and deliverables.
• Assist in M&A due diligence, integration workstreams, and purchase accounting conclusions.
• Support SOX 404 compliance and remediation of material weaknesses.
• Provide input on ASC 606, 805, 842, 718, 280, 350 in technical accounting matters.
• Partner with Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, and other finance teams on SEC reporting.
