Job summary

Infleqtion, a global quantum technology company, seeks a Director of Accounting Operations to lead day-to-day accounting functions and strengthen internal controls. You will oversee payroll, AP, expense reports, general ledger, cash reconciliations, and tax compliance while partnering with auditors and HR for seamless month-end close.

The role reports to the Global Corporate Controller and emphasizes process improvement, scalable processes, and collaboration across Finance, HR, Procurement, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience leading month-end close.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite).
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Accounting Operations team including Payroll, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger staff.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure journal entries are accurate and timely.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and reconciliations.
• Manage payroll for domestic employees and regulatory reporting.
• Direct AP, expense reports, and cash accounting functions.
• Oversee sales and use tax compliance and audits.
• Drive process improvements and automation in accounting.
