Job summary

BSI Engineering is seeking a strategic Director of Accounting in Mason, OH to lead our accounting team and drive accurate financial reporting, controls, and compliance. This role partners with leadership to support strategic decisions and continuous improvement across the finance function.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, hands‑on leadership, and excellent communication skills to foster accountability and growth within a dynamic employee‑owned culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, audits, internal controls and process improvement.
• ERP system experience required; Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Oversee monthly close, financial statements, reconciliations and general ledger activity.
• Monitor financial performance and provide analysis of results, budgets and business metrics.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax prep and external CPA relationships.
• Support Deltek Vantagepoint ERP administration and enhancements.
